Update Metadata – Aspose.Cells Cloud API Documentation

This REST API updates metadata in multiple Excel files.

Prerequisites: An active Aspose Cloud account, a valid JWT access token, and the Excel files to be uploaded.

Security and Authentication

The Aspose.Cells Cloud APIs are secure and require JWT token-based authentication.

Request parameters

Parameter Name	Type	Location	Description
file	file	formData	The Excel file to upload.
DocumentProperties	object	HTTP body (JSON)	Document properties to set for the Excel file.

Notes: Up to 10 files can be uploaded in a single request. Supported formats include .xlsx, .xls, and .csv. The total request size must not exceed 100 MB.

The OpenAPI Specification defines a publicly accessible programming interface and lets you carry out REST interactions directly from a web browser.

You can use the cURL command‑line tool to access Aspose.Cells web services easily. The following example shows how to make calls to the Cloud API with cURL.

The request requires an Authorization header with a Bearer JWT token. Ensure the token is generated using your Aspose Cloud client credentials.
