Add a Shape to a Slide
Introduction
The following API method allows you to add a shape to a PowerPoint document. You can use this method to add shapes of many types, such as text boxes, charts, WordArt objects, SmartArt objects, pictures, OLE objects, tables, etc. To add the shape to a presentation slide, you should prepare an appropriate data transfer object and pass it to the parameters. Alternatively, you can specify an index of the shape to be cloned.

Request Parameters

| slideIndex | integer | path | true | The 1-based index of the slide where a shape will be added. |
| dto | object | body | true | The data transfer object with parameters for the new shape. |
| shapeToClone | integer | query | false | The 1-based index of a shape to be cloned. |
| position | integer | query | false | The 1-based index of a position for the new shape. By default, the shape is added to the end. |
| password | string | header | false | The password to open the presentation. |
| folder | string | query | false | The path to the folder containing the presentation. |
| storage | string | query | false | The name of the storage contaning the folder. |
| subShape | string | query | false | Sub-shape path (e.g. “3”, “3/shapes/2”) |
In case of Amazon S3 storage folder path starts with Amazon S3 bucket name.
