Compress Data in an Excel File – Aspose.Cells Cloud API
The PostCompress API of Aspose.Cells Cloud Web Services
Prerequisites:
- A valid JWT token is required for authentication.
- Supported file formats are XLS, XLSX, XLSM, XLSB, and ODS.
- The maximum allowed file size is 500 MB per request (subject to service limits).
This REST API compresses data in an Excel file.

Security and Authentication
The Aspose.Cells Cloud APIs are secure and require JWT token-based authentication.

Note: FileContent contains the compressed workbook encoded as a Base64 string. The length of the string corresponds to the size of the compressed file; you can decode it using standard Base64 utilities to retrieve the binary Excel file.
